The cell phone adapter cable enables connection to an external antenna or signal booster / bi-directional amplifier for added reception. Kyocera / Qualcomm adapter cables connect to most cellular phones via an auxiliary port behind a rubber plug on the cell phone. The use of an external antenna with adapter cable will double the "bars" or reception you currently can obtain. The addition of a bi-directional amplifier in most cases will allow nearly full reception. |
